SystemOne is the cloud-based platform for artist booking agencies to streamline their entire process—from request to show. The new native mobile apps on Android & iOS empower booking agents to create and manage shows, even if they're backstage or on a tour bus. Artists and crew can still enjoy real-time schedule updates and offline access.

Scored deterministically. Only candidates that fire a story trigger are sent to a model, so this one has no written angle.
Gaps in our data, not findings about the product. Their weight is redistributed across the 6 we did measure.
A source that found nothing is a measurement. A source that has not run is a gap. Neither means the launch lacks the thing.
Overall, the launch has been well-received with excitement about the new mobile app features.
Hey 👋 We've finally launched one of our biggest updates: the new SystemOne mobile app. Ever since I met Martijn and Bartho (co-founders of SystemOne), they've been scheming to improve SystemOne's mobile experience to make it more intuitive and flexible for artist booking agents in all genres. The problem: booking agents are busy people and hardly have time to sit down, let alone do all their core work behind a desk. They're meeting promoters at events and supporting their artists backstage. The solution: SystemOne is already one of the leading artist booking agency software on the market. Now, their new Android and iOS apps give more power to booking agents to handle bookings, create shows and update itineraries while out and about. They can also update their company address book so SystemOne stays their source of truth on any device. I'm stoked to present the new mobile app! Check it out and let us know what you think ;) or just share your fave music genre and we'll debate it.

Little bit for interested techies:

The whole design and development cycle was so much fun! This was the third complete rebuild of our mobile application, and we started the project with a huge wishlist regarding technology, infrastructure, and quality.

The main application in our SaaS is our browser application, built in React. The previous mobile app was mainly a companion to the browser app and was only useful for part of our user base who needed read-only access.

The previous mobile app had its own collection of endpoints from which it fetched data. It had its own codebase, and its development cycle was completely separate from what we were doing for our browser application.

The big improvement from a structural point of view is that we have managed to weave the development of the mobile app into that of the browser app. The new mobile app uses React Native with Expo and is now part of the same repo as our browser app.

A lot of code is now shared between the browser and mobile apps, including translated labels and other infrastructure. In-house tooling helped us accomplish this. The release process for both environments also runs through the same CI/CD pipeline.

The development of the new app is now fully integrated, which makes it much more pleasant from a dev point of view to work on both applications side by side.

Let me know if you have any questions about the development process or technologies.

As someone working closely with our customers in Customer Success, it’s been really great to see the reaction to the new mobile app.

We’ve already had a lot of positive feedback from customers who are genuinely excited about the new experience. I’ve heard things like “they love the new app”, “being able to edit is a big, big plus” and “well done with the new app and all of its features¨

The redesigned calendar lets you see your full roster at once. You can now also update and add shows directly from the app, which has been especially well received.

It’s great to see SystemOne becoming more useful for agents and agency teams on the move, while keeping the simplicity that customers already love.

And this is just the beginning — excited to see what’s coming next! 🚀
