Gaps in our data, not findings about the product. Their weight is redistributed across the 6 we did measure.
A source that found nothing is a measurement. A source that has not run is a gap. Neither means the launch lacks the thing.
Overall, the comments reflect excitement about the app's potential but raise questions about usability and features.
From day one, the mission has been to build an all-in-one, agentic engineering platform that supports you wherever you are. It started with a @VS Code extension, launched 18 months ago, then a @JetBrains plugin, 6 months later. @Kilo Code is now available on your phone. As agentic engineering has evolved, I’ve found myself spending more and more time in the same loop: Give an agent a task and wait for it to create a PR. Review the PR and merge it. Repeat. Eventually, I realized I didn’t need to be at my desk for any of this. I could keep work moving while getting on with the rest of my day. That realization led to the Kilo mobile app. The goal is simple: everything you can do at your desk, I want you to be able to do from your phone too (or a tablet, if you want to get fancy). It has completely changed how I work. I use the app to build the app. I can take a walk in the park in the middle of the day while my agents keep working. A trip to the bank? No problem. A vet appointment? I can review a PR from the waiting room. I care deeply about making Kilo the best way to work from your phone, but I know your workflow may look different from mine. If you try the app and find something missing, please open an issue in our GitHub repo. The app is open source, and I’ll gladly consider your request.
Congrats on launching! Looks really good, will definitely check it out
Does the mobile app show enough agent context to understand what is happening?
